Very nice audience recording from the last show of Rod's sold out
From Maggie May To The Great American Songbook tour. I'd give the
sound a solid B.
The highlights here are obviously Ronnie Wood and Ian McLagan from the
Faces joining Rod on some songs. STAY WITH ME always sounds better with
Ronnie, and YOU WEAR IT WELL has a nice little different accoustic intro,
but to me the real treat is I'D RATHER GO BLIND. I don't believe they had
done this together since the Faces in 1975. Also Ronnie takes the lead
vocals for the encore song OOH LA LA. Before singing HOT LEGS, Rod takes a
shot a lip-synchers.
This is a reseed by request and one of my favorite shows so for those Faces
fans that don't yet have this, it's by no means an A+ but DEFINATELY listenable.
ENJOY!!
