Comments:
I didn't realize how low my expectations were for Roger Daltrey's opening set until he easily overcame them. He has certainly lost some range over the last ten years, but it appears the layoff has helped him recover somewhat from the physical demands of the last full Who tour in '06/'07. He has rearranged several of his songs and dropped many of his trademark screams, etc. (or lowered them an octave or more), but is still a worthy opening act.
The sound quality is similar to the EC headlining set just posted, though the bass was overwhelming during Daltrey's set. I used Magix Audio Cleaning Lab to significantly decrease the base under 70 db. Otherwise this is the raw recording.
Mp3 samples are included in the comments.
