::: VERY fine FM or EXC right in the P.A. AUD recording. Check samples to see if it passes inspection or just to tune up yr engine.
::: Sometimes listed as SBD or FM, but possibly a super AUD (or AUD for FM). Could be an AUD/SBD mix but it's mono. One online source says twas a WLIR-FM broadcast of the Islip Festival, but there was another station located directly at the Motorway, so I wonder.
::: Warts: Not many at all! Surely missed a few dropouts but if so, they are easily cross channel patched. I spent my hours here & it is a MUCH finer listen than the cassette, I assure you.
::: Roger starts a couple of songs with out of tune guitar, but remedies it for the most part.
::: Three weeks before the release of "Peace On You".
::: NOTE: My tape just said Islip. Some online sources say supposedly Islip Speedway aka Islip Motor Speedway - Thornton, Fradkin & Unger & many other bands on the bill. 10,000 fans attended the all day rock festival. Surely someone can give us some more information! Sounds like Wolfman Jack doing the intro which would make sense for a festival, but sounds more like a club gig at times, but this could be due just due to mike placement. Track 1 sounds like someone could be trying to get the AUD/PA balance corrected. I'll leave it up to the experts, but just say it is unlikely many folks will be upset either way - very nice recording from a year we have few McGuinns & they're mostly towards the beginning or end of the year. Furthermore, should someone have a sweeter copy, break it out & let's celebrate.
