Nice little acoustic benefit for the Glaucoma Society.
Me and my buddy Johnny Bones heard about it on the radio,
it was free with a donation.

We went downtown evidently terribly underdressed, lots of suited doctors etc,
but everyone was very nice. Catered buffet too!

I got to talk to Roger after the show, tried to talk him up into doing some
kind of a BYRDS re-union. He was pretty definate it would never happen, said
he was happy, but that was a closed body of work. Wasnt mad at anyone in
the old band but regarded it as a set piece of work, like the Beatles.

We were havng a grand old time talking music (he insisted the Doobie Brothers did
the best version of 'Jesus is Just Allright With Me', I insisted it was the Byrds,
when his wife pushed him to get away ('Roger we have to go').

He was interested in Dime after i told him how many old show had surfaced there.
