This rccording was more of an interesting project, it left me with more questions than answers.

This is often misdated and was labeled as Oct. 11, 1977, with no venue and only as New York. After some research I learned the date wasn't correct.

I knew my time frame with Roger and Gene performing as an acoustic duo was from approx. March 1977 thru Dec. 1978.

Assuming this is The Bottom Line, I think this is the same concert as the sbd/matrix version, but I'm not absolutely sure.

And just for reference I'll refer to The Bottom Line archive site, Roger and Gene only played there on March 19 & 20, 1978. (There are no Bottom Line dates in 1977 for this duo.)

From what I've seen from other set lists, this particular tape copy isn't complete, it's missing 9 songs.

That being said, the sound quality is very different, it has a much different instrumental mix and parts of it sound brighter and cleaner and vise versa..

I've only heard a short 45 second sample of "Turn Turn Turn" from the sbd/matrix and I've also heard a 64 min version on youtube, dated 10/19/77.

I can't verify that any of these sources are all the same show, but they sound very similiar.

I'm going to throw caution to the wind and hope this post is accurate and has some sort of value. I think it does...

I hope I've dated this correctly, but there is a chance I'm wrong. I'm just a little unsure with all the various dates floating around.

It may sound better or worse than other copies., It is what it is, but it's defintely different. I hope you enjoy it.
