Total Time ::: 55:26

::: Lovely, great stereo, SBD recording with a bit o' hiss, particularly between songs. Check samples to take a gander or for a couple of quick snorts; to cool your engines or put sweat on yr brow as the case may be.
::: Warts: Taper cut off equipment between some songs. First part of "Turn, Turn, Turn" is a bit rough, with a bit of volume fluctuation here & there (tape fatigue?). Hiss jumps up between songs like there was some kind of ALC involved, but sinks away when the music starts. "Eight Miles High" has a second of speed fluctuation. All in all, nothing tragic!
::: Nice echo on the vocals at times, The old Rickenbacker 12-string is singing sweetly!
::: Early or Late show? AUD tape previously here at DIME (same date, slightly different setlist) is probably the other show that evening. According to something I read online, there may have been 2 nights. Someone claimed to have 2 different SBDs. Would be great if someone can put them both up!

CoolSonics 199 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! ::: Corrections welcome ::: This makes you realise what could have happened without all the studio production around this time. Absolutely stunning arrangements & harmonies. Unlistenable songs for me on MC&H albums & the M&H album are gems here. Gene Clark sounds great. Someone used some kinda probable type 2 chrome tape as the high end is still happenin', but it musta bin a sh*tty brand as the recording was FULL of dead spots, now almost ALL noticeable ones corrected, but what a LOT of work, a crazy pain in the *ss. It was 3 songs in before I finally had as much as 20 seconds in a row without work. "Train Leaves Here This Morning" has a second of fluctuation at the end (tape damage). All in all, a joy throughout, what a classic sound. Enjoy!

Kudos to Zongo for life support, Lochner for mikes&more & Fast Freddie for runnin' Video Dick's Record Emporium with the bathroom office full of tape decks. Mountains of gratitude to Davmar, D.White, Sanchez, Elliot, The Florida Kid, Kloiber, Zingg, JTW, Bershaw, Boston Gold, Weeks, Dixon, Moore, Gough & SO many more for all that collecting & sharing...
