There are no fades applied to this recording; if you choose to burn to CD, the above splits are just a suggestion. However, since the recommended split occurs at the set break, that's probably the most obvious choice.
Comments: This recording captures Reg's Chicago date on his long-awaited "This Is Not a Drill" tour on July 26, 2022. Very good audience recording from the mezzanine level side-stage; the mix has excellent dynamics and balance. Other than a couple of people excusing themselves past the taper at the beginning of the sets, there is really no obtrusive chatting or whooping to distract from the performance.
In terms of performance, I think this was worth the two-year wait (tickets originally went on sale pre-pandemic). Waters put on his typical mesmerizing, sensory-overload show with clearly expressed political themes (an amusing recording at the beginning warns the audience that if you don't like his politics, "you might do well to fuck off to the bar"). If this tour comes anywhere near you, I highly recommend seeing the show if you are at all a Pink Floyd/Roger Waters fan.
Many thanks to TallTaper for taping and sharing. I was just the helper who EQ'd and tracked and shared it.
