The following notes were taken from the artwork-

Presented here for the first time ever is the most complete documentation of the 1968 recording sessions done at Olympic studios, for the Beggars Banquet Album.
All taken from the original reels.

Included on this disc are various mixes and outtakes.
Some changes are quite subtle, others amazingly different.
As you listen in on this session you will hear songs such as �Stuck Out All Alone� which never made it to the album but parts of which did show up in other songs.
There are also other songs that never made it to the final product.
Sit back, get comfortable and treat yourself to gems like the instrumental referred to as �I�m a Country Boy� that has never been available.
Even within the alternate takes you can get a glimpse and eavesdrop in on how they developed.
There are unique differences throughout, some more noticeable than others.
From the completely different take of �Dear Dr.� #1 to the really cool changes in the bass on �Jigsaw Puzzle�.
From the more subtle organ ending on �No Expectation� to the rather noticeable change with the fiddle in �Factory Girl�.
There are the added vocals at the end of �Stray Cat Blues� and the different backing tracks on �Prodigal Son�.

No matter what way you look at it, this is a monumental release which will not soon be forgotten.

EAC (see log) > Audacity (repairs for track 14) > TLH (Flac Level 8 - align sector boundaries) > Stamp ID3 tag editor

You shouldn't be able to hear where these repairs are but truth in sharing follows.

* The EAC log notes a suspicious position at 0:08:00 in track 14.
Looking at the waveform it was obvious that track 14 was missing some content at the 8 minute mark.
There was no evidence of damage to the disc so this must have been a defective pressing.

This gap was repaired with a very short patch from the same take available on the Trident Sessions.

Another defect in track 14 was found at 08:49 where there was a 0.001 second gap.
The fix for that was to just splice it back together.
Some digital noise was repaired as required to complete the restoration of this track.

A careful review of the rest of this CD found nothing else needing attention.
So track 14 is the only modified track.
The align sector boundaries function in TLH was then used to correct the track split positioning-see log below.
