These are two different audience recordings of the Rolling Stones live in Seattle, WA, June 4, 1972, 2nd show. Their 1972 tour in support of "Exile on Main Street" had opened the night before in Vancouver, BC, the only show outside the US. They crossed the border on June 4, where a famous photo was taken by official tour photographer Ethan Russell: http://www.ethanrussell.com/Gallery/g2-keithpatience.html.
The first recording is complete and above average for 1972 but is fairly hissy. Call it VG to VG+. It's the same recording VGP used for "A Fair to Remember Revisited," but lower generation and speed corrected. It's now slightly under 81 minutes so you might be able to fit it on one disc. The second recording is lower generation but not as well balanced; it has more guitar in the mix. It's also incomplete. Call it VG. I have attempted to match the pitch; anyone want to matrix these?
At this point early in the tour, the Stones' playing was still a bit tentative compared to later on. They were still experimenting with the set list also. I believe this is the last recorded performance of Loving Cup.
I have included front cover art which a friend made from an actual Seattle '72 photo. I never got around to making art for the back so I've included another Seattle photo which would be suitable. Both are low resolution but better than nothing I suppose.
