Sherborne Abbey Festival 2016, 1st May, 7.45pm, Big School Room, Sherborne School

Recorded using CA14 cards + Edirol R-09HR, then Audacity (slight amplification, trimming and split into tracks) and flac -8 encoding.

The concert was actually a crossover between a life music form, computer presentation and quite a lot of history talk. All about the Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in Soho, London, established 1959. Very informative and amusing at times... Overall, great concert and not a bad recording, either.

Attached a scan from the original programme, although the pianist is actually not James Pearson but Tom Cawley--not sure about the reasons why but Tom is a very competent pianist, indeed!

I managed to tape the first part without any interruptions, the second part is about 15 seconds late as I could not find the mics in the dark. I faded it a tad in (Alfie's Theme by Sonny Rollins).
