I'm selecting this Rory next, because I live about an hour North of Boston (I missed this show, I'm an idiot) & I'd like to hear from others that may have attended this show, & I really enjoy the performance.
I guess there is a story that goes with this show. I'd love to hear someone tell us here on dimeadozen. Years ago I had a guy e-mail me (I should dig out my old e-mails, from like 15+ years ago) & tell me he was at this show & that eventually Rory played past curfew & they ended up locking a bunch of people inside & Rory played until 2AM or 3AM. Sadly we only have a little less than 82 minutes here .... anyone?
The Mississippi Sheiks track here is a great jam (how 'bout "in-fucking-credible"!!?), & "Off The Handle" is hot, & "Tattoo'd Lady" is one of my favorite Rory tracks .... You need to turn this one up! Maybe a slight EQ to eliminate the tape source hiss, but the performance is cool!

I was at this show. Rory and I traded tshirts. I gave him a homemade one that said Rory Gallagher on the front. He gave me two in return. One was a tshirt that said Hotline,it was a radio station. The other was a Rush tshirt. As you know he opened for them on one tour.I have a 8x10 signed picture by Gerry and Rory. I was invited to the dressing room to trade shirts with Rory,him and I going through his big suitcase full of tshirts was a laugh.Rorys brother Donal said I sounded like one of the Kennedys. After the show Donal gave me a backstake pass and 20$ to go across the street and get some sandwiches. The place had just closed. I was with about 20 hard core Rory fans and we had a blast. Up front the whole night. Can't wait to hear this. Thanks for all the Rory you share.
