History of the recording:
Roy played on 2 Aug at the Grand Emprorium in KCMO.
After the show he was taken over to Chapman Studios in the wee hours of the morning of the 3rd.
Basically Roy and everyone else sat around and did massive piles of coke while Roy noodled and doodled.
Interspersed between the playing are a few short, really lame, stoner attempts at an interview.
I doubt the casual listener would be too interested.
The sound is real good.
I got this tape from my friend Bart, who ran the sound that night at the
club and who also taped this at the studio.
So I doubt you will find a better copy, not that you might want to anyhow.
And as I said is for the Roy fans who have to have it all!
I had this in a musty tape box in my basement for years and figured it might be fun to resurrect.
Its goofy......kinda fun........enjoy!
