02-[03:33]. Girl From The North Country
03-[01:48]. --interview--

Total Time ::: 10:28

::: Non-hi-fi OK quality miked off TV broadcast quality. Check samples for no egg on face (in ears?) or deelite factors.
::: Warts: Repaired dullspots & dropouts but surely missed a few. Buzz from TV speaker & flat mono sound.
::: COMPARISON CLAUSE: This is the Mk2 remastered without EQ but WITH some NR to lower the TV buzz, etc. THe Mk1 version without EQ or NR can be found elsewhere.
::: Missing at least one song from the start of the program.
::: Unknown info: TV studio, city & program. Do you know, or have more?

Recording Information ::: mono TV broadcast -> unknown recording equipment miked off TV speaker -> unknown analog tape generations -> unknown generation UD-XLII 90 cassette, Dolby B on.

Playback 2015-11-14 ::: unknown generation UD-XLII 90 cassette, Dolby B on on Nakamichi 680ZX cassette deck, Dolby B on, azimuth adjusted for individual tape, heads cleaned & demagnetized -> Sony Linear PCM Recorder PCM-M10 (LPCM 44.10kHz/16bit WAV files) -> computer -> Audacity [normalisation to remove DC offset, channel/phase alignment, fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, bump, pop, click, dropout & dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, -1.4% pitch (speed) fix with single pass after frequency analysis & with pitchpipe verification, NO EQ but WITH some NR] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. (Note: This version also only uses the less problematic left channel doubled up). First uploaded week of 2015-11-21.

Line-up ::: Roy Harper - acoustic guitar, vocals // TV program host (name?) - interviewer.

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.

DimeTravel 240 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! ::: Corrections welcome ::: This may be short but it's extremely memorable & funny as hell. Don't take Roy TOO seriously... It could be the sleeping pills talking! Hoping some more 60s/70s Roy shows up on the horizon before too long. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yrs truly, Knees
