Notes: This was the first time to see Roy and the band but they did not disappoint. Form a trio they make quite a sound, mostly from the guitar(s). Roy is a great performer for the crowd and plays a great share of traditional blues tunes -- some of which I could not pick out the names (sorry). He really had the crowd going, and then it was over. That happens too many times when you see a really good show!

*Hubert Sumlin, Willie 'Big Eyes' Smith Band, Bob Margolin (this group with various players is there each year. This year BIg Eyes son played, Bob stroger of Muddy Waters Fame, Bob Corritore(harp)and the whole thing came off very well. Hubert is one of the last of theold ones and he was unable to stand during this performance. (A)
