Once Clockwork Angels kicked in, it was obvious that this night was going to beat KC by a couple of country miles. The band's playing and Geddy's singing were much better here. Unfortunately, my taping experience wasn't so good here. I was clear in the back on the stage left side and had some issues with seats so I sat behind the seats. My recorder was under a seat that belonged to some very chatty people (I am amazed that the chatter wasn't worse here). The distance is a killer mostly on some of Geddy's banter. You can split this to disc however you wish. It is somewhat set up for a disc split between Cygnus X-1 and Closer To the Heart, but it is not stuck this way. I also recorded KC, but missed about the last 2 minutes of Working Man and the Garden Road teaser. Keep an eye out for that. I hope this captures the performance for how good it was. If Denver is the last time I see the band in concert, it was a good one.
