Microphone approx. 7-8 feet off the ground on top of tent poles taped to a low-boy folding chair.

Positioned myself in in front of, but not too close to, the secondary stack of speakers a ways out into the crowd.
Was able to get good, direct lines of sight to the stage and also what turned out to be pretty good audio from the secondary stack.

Comments:
Sam Bush headlined the third of four solid days at the Teluride Bluegrass festival.
This Saturday evening outdoor show takes place at around 8800 ft. elevation. The wind had died down from the afternoon and the air was clear and still.
"Put your seatbacks and your tray tables in the upright position.
And don't forget to fasten your seatbelts cause its gonna be a bumpy ride."
