I unfortunately didnt realise that I'd left the recorder on pause for set 2, two, so only caught set one, a pity as set two was much better, having more energy and not being interrupted after each song by needless intro.
Set one is ok, but it was spoilt for me by endless boring introductions of the band and the soloists, 5 minute intros narrated with little spirit or energy do NOTHING to help the flow of a show, and Sandy ought to be aware of that. I was really disapponted by set one, it probably sounds better on the recording than it did in the flesh .
Much of the audience left during the interval, the eclectic mix of Jazz and Indian music not being to their taste. and the theatre was far from being full , probably 400 at the most , both balconies were not used.
