What a show !
This show was new in many ways, as the band performed 7 new songs and with 3 guests vocalists. Also, the keyboard player Dave Matthews (different one) had his first appearance with this band. The usual material was tight as ever, the new material was at times pretty rough at the edges. 2 old favourites of mine came back into the setlist, 'Evil Ways' and 'She's Not There', since I saw them the last time.
All in all a very guitar heavy show, but great nonetheless. I was afraid, it would be more of the same, since CS didn't really change the setlist for around 6 years; but this concert was edgy and rough at times and because of that, very enjoyable.
If you can, get yourself some tix.
The sound is very good - as good as it gets in row 1 - but it was very loud too !
