My Japanese friend sure knows how to record a decent show.
In 2011 the very same taper recorded Antibes, which I shared here. Excellent sound!!!
And no, Antibes is definitely NOT in Japan.... :))
Like that one, this Tokyo show could also be used in the workshop "how to record a Santana show".

I haven't checked when it was the last time those 2 tracks were played, but it must beem a while.
By including songs like Se a Cabo, Everybody's Everything and Sacalao the Forum show might have
given a hint how a possible setlist of reunion tour in 2014 might look like.
Sacalao is the Spanish version of Chill out, the track with John Lee Hooker.That title was an adapted

A bit out of place, but quite well-sung by Tommy Anthony, was the Police cover Message in a bottle. That guy sure sounds like Sting.
