Notes: This show was originally scheduled for July 8, 2022. We were there on that date, and
Earth, Wind & Fire played their opening set. Just after they walked offstage, the announcement
was made that Carlos was not feeling well enough to perform and that the Santana set had already
been rescheduled. Since EW&F had already done their set, this evening's show was just Santana's set.
The EWF set was recorded from the lawn, and that's where I planned on being for this show as well.
After seeing how ugly the radar looked with a potential storm on the way, I decided to take advantage
of a cheap upgrade and ended up in the lower pavilion in section C row Y. The show was louder than I
expected, and they had the low end cranked up. I have not made any EQ edits, so you may want to turn
the bass down to suit your taste.

The July 8th show was supposed to be Carlos's first appearance after his episode passing out at the Pine Knob
show near Detroit. The August 3rd show ended up being the first of the re-scheduled dates. I was concerned
that we may end up having yet another postponement when the forecast was for 90+ degree heat again. With
rain on the way, it cooled down well before showtime and all was well. The band sounded great, and they
definitely put on a high-energy show. Enjoy!
