Total Time ::: 26:13

::: EXC stereo FM SBD with MUCH needed speed fixes. Check sample for 'needless' or 'needed' nugget acquisition arbitration.
::: Warts: Repaired dullspots & dropouts but surely missed a few. Occassional faint radio crackle. Mk2 version has some hiss.
::: CONTRAST CLAUSE: This Mk3 version remastered with NO EQ but WITH some NR. The Mk2 remaster without EQ or NR is available elsewhere.
::: Quality note: The Mk3 version with NR has only very slight artifacts, but very worthwhile hiss kill! IMO a more enjoyable listen.
::: *1970 not 1969 as it's sometimes traded & often circulates with a couple of incorrect song titles.
::: "A Hard Way to Go" 45 released 1970-03-xx in USA & 1970-05-07 in UK.
::: *Original "Mk1"upload as SBD 2-fer labeled "Chicago '69&CT '69" BUT Chicago is FM probably 1970-03-27. CT is AUD probably 1970-04-xx.
::: #01-07 issued on"Looking From The Outside"CD in crap quality, off-speed, incorrectly dated 1969, with #02,04,06 talk removed.
::: #08 "Shake, Rattle & Roll" (encore?) has never been officially released, so os the only track that could be uploaded.
::: "Raw Sienna" LP recorded 1969 but issued 1970-04-xx. LP just released according to band comments in this show.
::: *TYA played Chicago Aragon Ballroom 1970-03-27 (a hastily arranged gig). Savoy Brown&Argent opened, so this is likely that show (if it's actually Chicago).
::: Thanks to DIMER gv0000 for sorting out that most of the circulating tape was officially released & supplying the date/location notes.
::: #08 is end of main set judging by audience yelling for more in fadeout, so if song order is correct, #08 was the encore.
::: Likely a WXRT-FM brdcst as it's less than 2 months before Jethro Tull 1970-08-16 WXRT brdcst from same venue.
::: Concert almost certainly pre-recorded for a delayed FM broadcast.
::: 1st 4.5secs of original recording deleted as it was repeated & the thanks maybe for Argent (or from another concert).

Recording Information ::: stereo SBD -> FM broadcast -> off-air master tape -> ? -> CD-R -> EAC -> wavs -> flacs.

Remastering 2019-11-xx ::: "Mk1" unknown low generation flacs -> wavs -> Audacity [normalisation to remove DC offset, channel/phase alignment, fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, bump, clap, pop, click, dropout & dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, #01-06 +4% #07 +3.2% #08 +2.8% pitch (speed) fixes with single pass per segment after frequency analysis & with pitchpipe verification, NO equalisation, with some noise reduction, a bit of volume added +7 cents intentional offset added to R channel to center sound better] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. Freed 2019-11-xx.

Line-up ::: Christopher Thomas "Chris" Youlden - vocals // Kim Simmonds - electric guitar, vocals // "Lonesome Dave" Peverett (RIP) - electric guitar // Tony (aka "Tone") Stevens - electric bass // Roger Earl - drums.

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.

DimeTravel 532 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! ::: Corrections welcome ::: The question was what to do with this one as all but "Shake, Rattle & Roll" was released officially. Decided to send it out with just the unissued song as that it the longest song, about 1/3rd of the recording, and people can correct their own information & fix the speeds on the previously uploaded "Mk1" tracks. The released material is also slow but would require different speed adjustments & is unfortunately crappy quality as well. So it goes. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yrs truly, Knees
