NOTES: I admitedly didn't know a whole lot about these guys, just that they had an underground kind of following but when they came on the crowd energy was just crazy. They probably got the biggest response of the night. Super fun mix of surf, '60s pop and punk here.

Traveled to LA for this all day festival/show featuring (mostly) Burger Records bands fronted by women and it was not a disappointment. Arriving early and staking out my taping spot on the 2nd rail center, I stood for 13 hours without any bathroom breaks, etc as the venue was packed. So many great bands that I was looking forward to seeing (see attached flyer pic). I ran x2 rigs in the hat again but I am constantly impressed with the beautiful sound these CA14 cardiods pull in that instead of toying with matrix mixes (no time anyway for that right now) I'm just gonna post these.
