My thoughts:
It was quite the festive atmosphere on this New Year's Eve Eve. Times Square was off the hook. The slush puddles were wide and deep
at every corner, sidewalks jammed with what seemed like a million people, and me running late. I barely got past a VERY thorough pat-down by
security - the man's hand was literally 1 inch from my recorder tucked inside a sock. Once inside, however, I got treated to an
amazing show. The crowd is very chatty and nearly always audible, and you'll hear the occasional beer can being crushed on the floor,
but overall this is a fantastic listen.

Some visual highlights:

(1) During Give It Back, Sharon picked a young man from the front row and brought him on stage. She sang the song to him and he definitely had his
groove on. Good job dude ("Graham") if you're out there.

(2) During When I Come Home, Sharon demonstrated a series of classic 60's dances - the Boogaloo, the Funky Chicken, the Pony, the Mashed Potato,
the Swim. Words cannot do justice to her moves. Check this YouTube clip out to get the idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LYfiBw-SfQ

(3) At the beginning of He Said I Can, this well-meaning guy walks up to me and asks me, right into the recorder, "Yo what is that?".
You can't miss it and you can't make this s**t up.

(4) During Keep On Looking, Sharon picked 4-5 women, including her niece (Tayesha?), out of the audience and let them each do a dance solo.
The audience loved it.

The opening act for this show was Allen Toussaint Featuring The Dap-Kings which was uploaded on a separate torrent:

*Sharon introduced a different bass player for this song. She played bass on the Australian tour. I couldn't find her name. Anyone know?
