Notes:

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue were openers at this show with Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings. Hall and Oates headlined. Sharon and Mayer Hawthorne joined them for a Delfonics cover during their set, included here.

This was one of Sharon's final concerts before passing away from pancreatic cancer on 18 November 2016, RIP. She and the Dap-Kings went on to play San Diego (Thursday the 22nd, at Humphrey's Concerts by the Bay) and Las Vegas (Friday the 23rd, at the Garden Arena, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino) before Sharon flew back home to Augusta as the cancer progressed.

She had planned to play at the White House in October, but was recovering from pneumonia at that point, so the Dap-Kings performed without her.

There were some other performances planned after that, which got cancelled, including a show in Newark on the date of her passing.

Sharon struggles a bit through this set, taking a breather (literally) after the first song. t06 is a Gladys Knight & the Pips song, which they had been covering around this time. Incredibly they debut a new song here, t09. Took a guess on the title of that track as well as t05.

Cochemea gets a nice shoutout on his birthday here.

All corrections welcome.

Enjoy,
