Total Time ::: 24:23

::: EXC SBD quality. Check samples for artist investigations or the pre-download drools.
::: Warts: Repaired a few dullspots & dropouts. Repaired many split second mike overload moments but there are a few remnants.
::: COMPARISON CLAUSE: This is a remastered version of the DustyP 2016 Archive.org upload.
::: Tape labeled "late" February 1971.
::: University was often referred to as "Central London Poly".
::: The original upload was way too fast & had many brief distorted spots - both issues greatly improved here.

Recording Information ::: mono soundboard -> unknown reel-to-reel recorder -> master reel -> unknown digital transfer method -> flacs.

Remastering ::: master reel flacs (from Archive.org) -> Audacity [fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, bump, pop, click, dropout & dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, -8.4% averaged pitch (speed) fix with single pass after frequency analysis & with pitchpipe verification, no noise reduction, no equalisation used *except for some split second applications on microphone distortion] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. First uploaded 2017-10-xx.

Line-up ::: Shelagh McDonald - acoustic guitar, vocals.

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.

DimeTravel 375 ::: Thanks to the original taper(?) & uploader to Archive.org, DustyP & kudos to Zongo for the link (a LOT of folks have overlooked this one) & thanks to Alan Bershaw for weighing in on the speed correction. ::: Corrections welcome ::: This recording finds Shelagh somewhere between her first 2 albums. We get 3 from the first record, "Album" ("Silk And Leather", "Peacock Lady" & "Ophelia's Song". "City's Cry" wasn't to appear until her 2nd album & there are 2 songs here we've not had from her anywhere else, the folk tune "Polly Pretty Polly" & a blues, "Thirty Days In Jail". All in all, quite a solid set. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yrs truly, Knees
