This was my first time seeing Sierra Ferrell and it will not be my last. She's a truly talented and captivating performer who's well worth the price of admission. The show was outdoors and the weather this time of year in the North Carolina mountains can bring surprises. As Two Runner was wrapping up their set the clouds were building to the east and just as Sierra was starting her show the skies opened up. And continued to open up for all but the last half hour of Sierra's set. When the rain went from shower to downpour I had to take action to protect my mics from the deluge. So there's a cut at 3:58.5 in track 1. Otherwise, being an outdoor general admission show there's lots of chatter and distracting noises but not too bad considering the enthusiasm of the crowd. Enjoy!
