This was my first time at this venue and my second time seeing Sierra Ferrell. Blue Ridge Music Center is located in a state park and as such alcohol is prohibited. The absolute best recording environment ever. The event was sold out and the crowd was enthusiastic but well behaved. During the quiet segments the audience was dead silent! I’m very happy with the capture overall but a loose cable somewhere in my rig interjected the occasional pop here and there. I was able to attenuate them to a point but it is what it is. As you listen to the show you'll hear Sierra talk about honey from time to time. She was fighting some vocal gremlins and would step to the side and litterally pour honey straight down her throat. She's a trooper.
