Notes:
I have wanted to tape Signs of Life: The American Pink Floyd for roughly 5 years
now, but whatever the reason is, I never brought my taping gear. This was my 4th
time catching them play this venue and THIS time, I brought my gear! They were
paying tribute to the 50th anniversary of "Wish You Were Here" with a full album
performance in the front half of the set, which getting to see was very cool!
They then played a great mix of classic Floyd with some Gilmour Floyd for good
measure. In fact, "On The Turning Away" was one of the highlights for me. If only
they did "One Slip"! This came out extremely bass heavy, so there were a few EQs
performed and I think it sounds much nicer now, but you still may want to adjust
your home stereos. Sometimes thats the luck of the draw running omnis. We had
perfect weather for the closing night of concerts at RiversEdge for the year.
