Notes:
I decided to get the VIP ticket for the Detroit show, as I love seeing bands at St. Andrew's Hall. Probably my favorite venue in Detroit. We got in early for the VIP soundcheck, which they also did a cover of 'Stairway to Heaven,' 'This Must Be The Place,' and 'Heart Shaped Box' that we could hear from outside. As well as 3 other songs that they played in the main set before the VIPs were let in for the 3 songs. I was able to capture the soundcheck with the Schoeps. You don't realize how much a full house will act on the sound from the main PA. Almost felt like something was missing. But really cool to hear some songs with about 50 other people. SSPU then stayed after for about 10 minutes answering questions.

I was able to get a good balcony seat because of the early entry right above the soundboard. The sound was very good from here and actually this was the first time I had been back since the floor was redone and PA system. I liked this show a lot better than Kalamazoo and that was more to the fact I wasn't dead tired. SS put on an epic show. Playing for just under 2 hours. Can't beat that.
