AUD > Reel ? > ?? > CDR in trade > EAC > Nero > FlacFrontend (level 6)

Nero spectrum analyser shows frequencies beyond 20khz, so it isn't lossy and
probably has come from a reel recording.

Changes Made (Nero 7):
--------------------------
Cross-mixed all tracks (60:40)
- Fixed balance offset
- Significantly improved the venue 'boxey' sound
- Eliminated the very high low frequency noise
- Instruments are clearer and better defined in the stereo field
Reduced right channel by 8% to centre stereo image
Applied Noise Print NR on low setting so music quality is not affected
- Some noise remains but it is much better
Equalisation, +2dB (mid) +6dB (Treble)
Re-Tracked to match 'urich21's Set List
- Had to leave some tracks combined to prevent big glitches (d.c. offset?) between tracks
Edited out the very brief cut-off applause fragment between tr09 and tr10
Fixed more than 100 small glitches / thumps, a few remain that I just couldn't locate

Quality: A+ performance, B+ recording quality
---------------------------------------------------

Got this CD by trade as a single track, but thanks to 'urich 21 now have the set list.
The sound was thin and 'boxey' and there was very high noise, but I managed to fix most
of the problems (details above).

The end result is an excellent performance and much improved quality especially considering
the vintage. I'd never heard the freer version just prior to Wyatt's leaving, but I have
to say IMHO they were developing into a wonderful free band and it is such a shame that
with such a promising future ahead, they decided to back off into fusion, so...

...Grab it as there is precious little of this great era available - Enjoy !!

Elton Dean - alto sax, saxello & electric piano
Mike Ratledge - Hohner pianet, organ & electric piano
Hugh Hopper - bass
Robert Wyatt - drums & vocals
