greek sinopoulos plays an ancient bowed lyre, sligtly different from the greek lyre, and it sounds like a fiddle, or more precisely like a viola. The music is not thirld world, but it is more oriented towards some structured ethnojazz, like the sort you get with rabih abou khalil or anouar brahem or others, so that his future release will be coming for the ECM label. This was part of his current label Errichetta festival, also featuring on the bill label mates Ziad Rajab and Serchuk Orkestra. Included is a short 4 mins interview broadcast a few minutes after the set. All these tracks are unannounced, see FFP for sequence - set lenght is 52'23"
