Soledad - Barbican Hall London England 2000.09.23 DAT master, never circulated FLAC

Soledad Pastorutti, just known as Soledad is one of Argentina's biggest selling artists of recent years, who has helped to revive and bring folk music back to the attention of millions of young people. This concert, one of 3 during the evening, formed part of a festival of Argentine cinema and music. The other artists taking part were Jaime Torres and one of my heroes, León Gieco. I may upload their concerts if there is sufficient interest.

I have absolutely no idea of the song titles as she spoke only very fast Argentine Spanish, so I'm open to offers from the Argentine crowd. I clapped during the chacareras - in time, out of time and at the wrong time as I still do at weekend breakfast when we play folklore CDs, and also when we visit folklore halls in Argentina. Roll on 2010 when we next go there!

The Barbican Hall is part of a huge complex containing a main concert hall and smaller spaces in which all kinds of events are held. This concert was held in the main hall - a veritable cavern and cathedral like in accoustics - that is to say horrendous!!

So I list the spaces for song titles if anyone knows any!
