An ACIDJACK master recording

Position: Clamp to right of SBD cage, 7' pole (about 15-17 ft total height), 90 degrees

Run Time: 1:34:00

Simply put, this is one of the very finest recordings I have made in my taping "career" and all the better that it was an intimate Sonic Youth show for me to do it! I should say up front that the nyctaper team was on hand, and there is an even better 4-mic matrix mix here: http://www.nyctaper.com/?p=2056 I ran my new DPA 4021s on a very high pole, and I was thrilled with the results.

Compared to the Terminal 5 show that I posted recently at nyctaper.com as well, this show had a bit more of the early material, and being in a far superior and smaller venue, sounded better and attracted a better crowd. The band was in absolutely stellar form and showed why they are still relevant and vital more than 20 years into their career.
