When my son made last minute plans to come home for the weekend, he was concerned that a midnight arrival at Union Station in DC would be too late for me. I immediately assured him that I could always drive in early and "find something to do." I checked the local venues but somehow overlooked The Hamilton. I asked a friend if he knew of anything going on and he recommended Sonny Landreth. Friends have been telling me for years that I need to see Sonny, and this was the perfect opportunity. The show was great and the timing was perfect. It's hard to think of a better way to wait for a train.
