Lineage: Aud Cassette (unknown gen) > Nakamichi 582 deck > Creative X-Fi > Adobe Audition > CD Wave > Trader's Little Helper (FLAC)

This was a very frustrating show to deal with. Just look at the setlist. Unfortunately the sound is quite poor. After transferring this I tried to make it sound better 4 or 5 different times. I let it sit for awhile and tried again and this is about as good as it's going to get. I would recommend this for die hards and for those not unwilling to really listen past bad sound.

If anyone out there has a better sounding copy of this show, please share it. This one is really worth an upgrade.

A Southside Johnny Vault Project – 1976-1988

“TALK TO ME” is a project started in the fall of 2008 that is releasing a stash of shows, interviews and some miscellaneous items in a subset called “Bit By Bit” from tapes that were recently unearthed after all these years. They represent major Southside Johnny finds from 1976 – 1988.

The items were collected in the 1980s the old fashion way – snail mail trades. Research shows that many of these shows are not presently on trading lists from some big Southside Johnny fans, so they are being offered here as they may in fact represent rare and unique items from an amazing performer. Many have excellent sound as is and others have been edited and/or equalized where beneficial to enhance the presentation of these tapes that were intercepted before they hit the “Trash It Up” junkyard.

The TALK TO ME project comprises the collective efforts of HazyDavy(Rainman7), Deb1, Kathleen, and Bossman284 with kudos to the original traders who had these items and were willing to trade them, oh so many years ago.

<<< NOTE: Some of the shows being made available in this project may not have the best sound quality and are being offered specifically for historical purposes and intended for completists. >>>
