Recorded by Spacebandit 1st row almost dead center (a bit to the right). Unfortunately no barstool/bartable available. Sigh! Anyway, despite the fact that - at the end of the festival -
at least - some drunken Hesse asked me, why I'm so quiet affected by this wonderful music (aargh!); that (in my ears damaging) assault isn't really audible. So, no real chatters, but
a pretty fine tape.

THE SAD STORY ABOUT FREAK VALLEY:
On Thursday, May 17th, my old trusty ZoomH2 suddenly died with a cause. As the day was a holiday here in Germany, I had no chance than checking out a loction to get a new one next morning.
MUSIK PRODUKTIV about 60 kms one way north, seemed to be ok, and as our depature time for FREAL VALLEY was set up on 13.00 (1.pm), I was at the gates for opening at 10.00. Well,
a few exchanges of information, and the urge about using that recorder THAT afternnon. Anyway, nothing really inspiring was said to me. Nothing about switchting the wheel on top
to XY for external mics (the old one did that directly). Nothing about the "Hold" for recording. As I did not have the time to read the booklet, and as I stated,that this would be used for
external mic use, I'm extremely pissed. Anyway, somewhere down the line on this fantastic outdoor festival, I've checked it on my own (without the description, left at home).
Well, the lesson is - you learn on your defeats...Next time better...

Well, ok, here's a quick one from last night's FREAK VALLEY closing show. Very spaced out instrumental psychedelic jam rock, and a very fine fitting conclusion to the 2-day festival
in the beautiful surroundings of Siegerland (a lovely place to make holidays in (if it doesn't rain)). Guess this first edition of that festival was a real success, so there might be
another on on May 31th/June 1st next year. Here's the closer and the start of the recordings from FREAK VALLEY!
