A LARS M RECORDING
---

Rec. Info:
Sony ECM 719 mic -> Sony PCM D50 (at WAV 16/44) -> HD -> USB Stick received via Mail -> my HD -> Audacity (edit/remaster) -> WAV 16/44 -> TLH8 -> FLAC -> DIME -> YOUR EARS AND MIND...
Recorded by dear taper brother Lars app. 1 meter from stage edge dead center facing Mr. Kapstadt. The tape is unfortunately not the same fine quality than my recordings from Bielefeld
or Hannover are. This got two reasons (or three): The house system sucks until the "tech break" very much. Muddy sound, the saxophone is almost none existing. Second, the microphone
isn't up to the ranges that the OKMs can do. Third, maybe, the crowd is really nuts. So, don't expect too much from this recording. It's fair to good.
As Lars wrote to me, the Rockefeller was about 1/2 packed, so maybe 300+ people were attenting this show.

Well, here's the capture of a show from the norwegian (wood)leg of SPIDERGAWD's first tour in 2015. Finest psychedelic hard drivin' Rock and roll music! The more I listen to the tapes
and the gorgeous two full length albums they have released so far, I'm growing more and more on freakin' out about them. Tons of Bent bass explosions, Mr. Kenneth Kapstadt's thunder
Ginger Baker style drumming, hard rocking Gibson power by Per and the subtle weird noises from Rolf on the modified saxophone makes every performance of this great band a pure delight!
So, let's jump right into the show...enjoy! SB.
