Spirit is playing again and this time it is just around the corner at the Country Club.
This is a smaller 500-seat venue shaped like a box with a balcony and a three level floor.
B Man and I round up all of the gear and as soon as we walked in we beat it on up to a table in the raised section just behind the pit area.
The band came on and played 2 songs before I realized that the pause button was on so that is where the first two songs went.
I can�t remember what the songs were just that 2 songs went by before I noticed that the pause button was pushed in (about 10 minutes).
I think this is what happened to the start but it has been a long time.
The rest of the show is captured here in nice quality.
Like I say, there is always something when you are recording live concerts.
The echo that generally plagued audience recordings at this venue actually added a nice dimension to the PA on this evening.
Mark has the master tape my copy went on a cassette.
