I was lucky enough to catch Stanleyīs last two performances at the Blue Note last sunday, I had bar tickets for both. I brought my equipment just to see if there was any chance of taping, I was especially after the second performance at 22.30. I tried it out during the first set and it sounded good enough, so I started taping the second set. Immediately after the first song I was spotted by the owner, he saw the red lights in my front pocket (silly mistake...to thin shirt!). I told him it was my phone, he just nodded but I stopped the tape there and then so as not to lose what I had taped. He took a memory card from an asian visitor during the first set. Ok, so he filmed part of the set, and didnīt stop filming when told not to, but I wasnīt taking chances.

I had low expectations since I was at the bar, but the sound turned out very good. I graded it as A. Maybe you will agree, maybe you wonīt, but I hope everyone who is even just a smidgeon interested will grab this one since the performance of No Mystery is a KILLER.

I added the two songs from the first set too. Since they were taped as a sort of tryouts, and one of them isnīt even complete, think of it as a bonus. And I canīt for the love of horsemanure remember what the last song is called. Help?
