PHILANDJENNY RECORDINGS NO.9

I love The Factory, it's one of the best venues in Sydney.
As the name suggests, its a converted factory in the middle of a light
industrial area. Its fairly small, got a great vibe, good viewing
from anywhere in the room and can either pack you in close and sweaty
or have you seated in a smaller set up.
This was tyhe first time I'd recorded here and I was a bit worried
about how it would come out as I had the trusty Zoom in a top pocket
of my shirt (specially bought for just this type of gig) and I'd not
recorded this way before. I'm very happy with the result and I think
you will be too.
Steve was in top form, best gig I've seen by him for years, certainly
better than his last tour when he included a brave but misfiring
rap/turntable guest halfway through his set. Long performance as well,
getting on for 2 hours. He looked and sounded great and as you'll hear,
the audience loved him.
Couple of close voices at times and the odd loud whoop but nothing
overly obtrusive. Enjoy :>)
