Nice, rocking show with a good vibe. I had not expected I'd like it that much.

I had never recorded in this venue, so I made sure I was on time to check the various spots which
seemed suitable for recording. I also wanted to record the opening act, The Mastersons, so I had
to be in a good location from the start. I settled for the balcony, which is not very high and
where the high speaker stacks give a good sound. That I had an unobstructed view on the stage was
a bonus. The people near me were perfect, appreciative between songs, but quiet during the songs.

Even the whistler in front of me only whistled between songs. Before the show he started talking
to me and he kept on talking, so in the end I confessed I was planning to record the show, so once
it started I couldn't speak. He was on his best behaviour, so I took his whistling for granted and
truth be told it is hardly audible on the recording.
At one point during the show he asked me with sign language how I liked the show so far.
Being a female taper has its advantages.

Some cell phone interference can be heard occasionally. that's also something tapers have to live with.
