Hands Down, This seemed like the longest gig I had ever been to, and I've seen Springsteen and Costello...

Thirty three songs, I think Earle was trying to play every song he knew that night. It's lucky I had started taking two tapes to shows... but even then it was a close run thing.

At some point, I had to stash my rig in amongst the flight cases for a toilet break, but I'm damned if I can detect where... Thanks to Mick B for looking after it for me. Now, I only drink shorts at gigs...
