LDB Special Series #211

Out of my 7,000+ shows and radio broadcasts, I have many concerts that were special for some reasons: the setlist, the
musicians, the venue or unexpected events. These are the ones I'd like to propose you. Most of these come from my
cassettes collection, so they will be released at a slower pace than my Master Series! But you won't be disappointed!
I will try to gather the most unusual things I have in my collection and, as always, your feedback and comments will be my
reward for all the work involved in this project.

DO NOT share this music on mp3, just convert it for your own use. Sharing mp3's is the right way to make me stop sharing
music here.

I acquired the whole bunch of the Hackett tour in Italy 1980 within a few months in the late 80's, all from low generation
tapes. On an average, they all sound good to very good, no disappointment here! This was the first tour in Italy in Steve's
solo career, only two months after Gabriel's first appearence in the country. By that time, Genesis hadn't played in my
country for five long years, with two more to come before thwy would hit the stage in the peninsula.

So these tapes hold a lot of memories because they were the bulk of my Hackett live collection. I did not see that particular
tour but it sounds great, probably the best Hackett tour ever, promoting 'Defector' album. Also, being the very last dates of
the tour, the band was in very good shape, even attempting to play new numbers such as Air-conditioning Nightmare.

This is the final chapter of this mini-series. Hope you enjoyed it!
