Having decided to skip all of the meet and greets, there was nothing on my Day 4 schedule until Steve Hackett at 4:30. With time on my hands, I got off the ship and wandered around Cozumel. I wasn't ambitious enough to go on any excursions, so I entertained myself by paying too much for a piece of silver jewelry, after which I bravely sampled the local culture at Starbucks.

While waiting in the theater for the show to begin, we noticed some commotion on our right. It was apparent that someone had fallen on the stairs in the aisle. It turned out to be Patrick Moraz, and while he wanted to get up and walk away, he was encouraged to wait for assistance. The show began after he was escorted out, and you'll hear some conversation about the incident during the intro music. Having just seen Steve Hackett in Fort Lauderdale (Vol 42) and knowing that this would be a shorter set dulled my anticipation for the performance, but we were rewarded with a unique show due to several interesting guest appearances. John Wetton delivered a fine vocal performance during Firth of Fifth, as did Simon Collins (who appeared to be having the time of his life) during Supper's Ready. At the time I thought "Watchtower" was an strange choice for the encore, but after several listens, I find myself appreciating it more than I did then.
