Hit after Hit after Hit. I had forgotten this guy had so many classic songs.
Recording Notes:
There is a tape flip during track 10. Quick tape cut at 1:08 min mark.
At the very end of track 18 (the last 45 seconds, it sounds like there is another song that is starting to play.
It's very faint. Can someone identify that snippet?
Maybe there is a song missing? Or maybe it's really the beginning to track 19 before the tape change. Track 19 cuts in.
I think there might be a song missing between tracks 19 and 20 there is a tape stop/start there.
If you listen to the last 4 seconds of track 19, you can hear what sounds like a mellow piano intro to something. (I can't identify it)
The last track 20 is "Space Cowboy" and then the tape just kind of drops out and rustles around and stops,. Is there another encore??
The quality is usual of all the Jones Beach tapes I've offered in the past.
Somewhat Airy and Distant, with noticeable crowd noise and microphone movement. I did some work on reducing the mic bumps and fixing dropouts.
