NOTES:

I have another show I taped from this summer that I need to master from Steve but
since this was short and sweet and very good sounding, thought I'd do this one first.
This is one of those gigs that I did not have high hopes for then again, location is
everything. This was the Pirates last FAN JAM, Steve played AFTER the Pirate game with
the stage setup right in front of second base. I was lucky enough to work on very good
tickets ahead of time and got 6th row in the Lexus club which is behind home plate. The
absolute best sound in the building for sure - DFC so to speak. They wheeled the stage out
and I couldn't believe how good it sounded. These mics also contribute to the great low end.
In any case, we got a solid hour of hits, Steve got thru them pretty quick but they were pretty
tight and he is a big Pirate fan so he was pumped. And they won. This show sounds better than the
indoor show I taped this summer but they are both pretty good. I'll get that one mastered soon enough.
Enjoy it, I'm sure there aren't many sources of this gig out there. I had some issues with getting the
levels balanced during the first part of the show but it doesn't detract much and a big lady stood up
in front of me during Jungle Love for the first minute so that is a little thin...I didn't do a
whole lot to it, it was pretty hot to start. Rock on.
