the sound for this show was excellent , apart from when the soundman has a bit of a brainstorm on serenade and cranked it up a bit so there was some slight overload, i've fixed it so its not really all that noticeable.
When the Steve Miller band opened, there were two blondes and a brunette sitting in front of us, during the first 25 mins of steve miller they yakked intermittently until i had an argument with them during which we both told each other to get fucked. they then shut up a bit. i patched a paste mix over our little contretemps from another well recorded miller show ,it occurs about 37 secs into Shu Ba Da Du Ma Ma Ma Ma and is about 15 secs long, i can't be precise because i can't tell where it finishes as I didn't write it down when I did the edit. They were completely quiet during the acoustic set and only really talked every now and again for a few seconds at a time.
Fortunately the show was loud, so their chatting hasn't really spoilt the show all that much. I have removed it where possible and minimised it where it hasn't affected the music .I would say there are in total theres about half a minute where you can hear them and then only slightly.
The crowd got a little bit noisy during the Joker, but otherwise they were very respectful ( apart from the women in front of us ) and I have heard infinitely more noise on many other recordings.
