Here Is The Companion To My Previous Seed (See Below), And The Real Meat Of The Day Of Concerts At The Opera House. Reich Himself Was Here For Several Days In Residency, And Many Of The Most Prominent New Music Ensembles In Australia Attended And Performed, Culminating In This Day And Evening Performing Reich's Music. It Was A Fantastic Evening, Led Off By An Unannounced Opening Performing Of Clapping Music By Reich Himself, With Synergy Percussion's Timothy Constable. Not The Best Performance, However, As Mr. Constable Lost The Plot More Than Once But Managed To Get It Back On Track. Lotta Pressure, I Guess.

And Now A Technical Note – I Have Removed All Applause From These Tracks. I Record Live Events For My Own Enjoyment, And Sometimes A Minute Of Applause In Between Each Piece Breaks The Spell That Reich's Music In Particular Creates. So Apologies In Advance To The Concert Purists Out There. To Those People I Can Only Say Perhaps Another Dimer Will Release These Concerts Unedited.

I Have Included Several Photographs I Took At The Concert - Including What Surely Must Be A Dime First: Five 3-D Photos - Three Of The Opera House Interior, One Of The Stage Before The Show And One Of 18 Musicians Being Performed! (Just Stand Back From The Screen, Cross Your Eyes Slightly And Merge The Two Images)

There Is Also A Curtain-Call Photo From The Balcony That I Found On Flickr. Reich Can Be Seen In The Centre.

I've Included Also A Panel Of Itunes-Ready Artwork, And A Pdf Scan Of The Entire Program From The Event.

Please Keep Seeding, Leave A Comment Below If You're Moved, And Support All The Artists.

Ciao!
