Three months into his "Back In The High Life" tour, Steve Winwood played the New Haven Coliseum in New Haven, CT. The tour was nearing completion and the band was about as tight as a band could be at this point in the tour. The setlist had been set for quite a while at this point and only slightly varied night to night.

This is a very good capture that I did do some mastering on (some would call remastering but you can't really remaster something that hasn't been mastered and as always I started with the raw transfer) IMHO it is now an extremely enjoyable show in near excellent quality.

The first 8 minutes of the show where slightly muffled, I've EQ matched this 8 minutes with the balance of the show and though not perfect it is much improved over where it started but hang with it, after the 8 minutes it clears up beautifully.

I've included two newspaper clippings, the first is a review of the show from the November 19th 'Harford Courant' in which the reviewer has an issue more with Winwood's shyness and personalty than the music presentation calling the show "capable, but uninspired". The second is reader feedback saying the reviewer was way off base.
