What a great show, thight band, loose vibe, some ecclectic musical playfulness, great guitar as always, some great ironical lyrics on the new album. Not a boring minute.
I've never seen Malkmus smile that much during a show (certainly not during the Pavement reunion tour), same goes for the band, they were having a lot of fun and me too.

The club was nicely filled, not quite sold out, ca. 500 people, the mix was excelent, teh audience appreciative, hardly an chatter - the recording came out fine.
Had the levels a littel too low, raised them afterwards by 3 dB, changed the md during the encore break in hope of a long encore, the gap was joined by a cross-fade.
